Toulon-Hyères International Airport is the nearest airport to Porquerolles with daily connections to Paris, London, Bruxelles and Rotterdam.
International flights are more diverse and frequent in the nearby airports of Marseille airport (70 km from Giens) and Nice Airport(120 km from Giens).
Buses will pick up participants at those three airports on October 11 to bring them to the boat. A similar trip back will be organized by bus on October 16. Exact meeting times and locations will be made clear in the future.
By Rail & Public Transport
The closest train station is Hyères.
From the train station, take the bus 67 to ‘La Tour Fondue’ - Ferry Terminal to Porquerolles.
Toulon train station is also close. From there you can take either bus 29 or 39 direction "Gare routiere de Hyères". Stop at "Hyères gare routiere” and from there take the bus 67 to ‘La Tour Fondue’.
Buses are waiting slightly to the right outside Toulon railway station (with your back to the railway station). In general, they are waiting there before departure. However, depending on the traffic, they may arrive late, and will stop only if you wave your hands. (The bus number can be seen in the front of the bus). You can buy a ticket from the bus driver (better if you have some small change), and you have to stamp it inside the bus.

Ferry
The ferry goes from La Tour Fondue (Giens) to Porquerolles. The journey takes around 20 minutes and costs 19.50€ for a return trip. The ferry leaves La Tour Fondue everyday at 7:30am, 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 5pm and 6pm. For the trip back from Porquerolles, it leaves everyday at 7am, 8:30am, 9:30am, 11:30am, 2pm, 3pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:20pm.
Especially booked boats at a discounted price will be made available at specific times (to be determined) on October 11 and 16, but no later than 6pm.

By Car
To reach La Tour Fondue, which is the ferry terminal, first go to Hyères and then take the D97 till La Tour Fondue.
